SUMMER STOCK

Judy Garland plays a farm owner whose sister brings her acting troupe to rehearse in their barn, and finds herself falling for the group’s handsome director (Gene Kelly). This original MGM musical was the final film Garland would make for the studio as well as her last screen pairing with Kelly. With dances choreographed by Nick Castle, the film features one of Garland’s most iconic numbers, her irresistible performance of “Get Happy.”
