Program Series: Oscar Nominee Spotlights
Makeup and Hairstyling
Join us for a conversation and showcase with this year’s Makeup and Hairstyling nominees.

Celebrate the nominees of the 97th Academy Awards at the Makeup and Hairstyling Symposium. Nominees will talk about their nominated works in our David Geffen Theater.
Learn about their creative processes and how they work with actors and filmmakers to bring characters to life.
From 10am-3pm the same day, head to the Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby for a showcase* of items from the nominated films, including concept sketches, wigs, prosthetic makeup pieces, and reference materials.
Seating in the David Geffen Theater will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No seat saving will be permitted.
