Drop-In Workshops for Families: Color in Motion

Drop-In Workshops for Families: Color in Motion

Join us in the Shirley Temple Education Studio for a Color in Motion art-making workshop!

Inspired by the new exhibition, Color in Motion: Chromatic Explorations of Cinema, families can learn about color theory and create their own colorful stop-motion animations!

  • Date: Saturday, November 16

  • Time: 12:30–2:30pm (join us any time during this block)

  • Location: The Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.

  • Cost: Free with a museum general admission ticket, which is free for children (17-)

In addition to the workshop, we encourage families to check out the Color in Motion exhibition located on Level 4.

Every month, the Education team invites families to join museum educators to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings to create, learn, and have fun! Check back soon for upcoming workshop themes!

If you have any questions or need assistance planning your visit, please email museumeducation@oscars.org.
