Big Hero 6

Big Hero 6

Accommodative Screening

This lively computer animated science-fiction adventure was loosely inspired by a Marvel Comics series. Hiro Hamada is a 14-year-old prodigy who tries to foil a dangerous conspiracy with the help of his late brother’s robot creation, the lovable, inflatable Baymax. Set in futuristic “San Fransokyo,” dazzlingly visualized by directors Don Hall and Chris Williams, the film is an action-packed yet heartwarming delight and the winner of the 2014 Animated Feature Film Oscar.

On the last Saturday of every month, the museum's Family Matinee is an accommodative screening where we offer open captioning, keep the theater dimly lit, and maintain a lower volume specifically for neurodivergent viewers.
