Fire elements Bernie and Cinder Lumen immigrate from Fire Land to Elemental City and build a life in the city’s fire town. As Bernie prepares for retirement, he plans to pass his shop over to his now-grown daughter, Ember, if she can keep her temper. After an unexpected connection with water element Wade challenges her worldview, Ember discovers alternate possibilities for her future. Inspired by filmmaker Peter Sohn’s upbringing and his parents’ immigration to New York, Elemental is a story about living out of your element.
