A group of pilgrims are on their way to the titular cathedral city and to pass the time along their journey they share stories, each more scandalous than the last. Winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, Pasolini’s film was shot in England and features the spectacular production design of Dante Ferretti.
