The Academy Museum Teen Council invites you to join us on Saturday, August 5, from 5pm to 7pm, for a series of workshops before the night’s screening of The Cure in Orange (1987) at 7:30pm, part of the museum’s limited film series Summer of Music: Concert Films 1959–2020.

Participate in makeup demonstrations for your Robert Smith–inspired goth looks, '80s and goth music karaoke, button making, and screen-printing on BYO t-shirts.

Meet us in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.

All workshops are free with museum admission and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum admission is free for youth ages 17 and under. Film screening tickets must be purchased separately.
