  • 4–7:30pm The Oscars® Live on ABC (in the David Geffen Theater)

  • Creative cocktail attire is encouraged

  • Museum Member and Academy Member: $75

  • Non-Member: $100

  • This event is open to all ages.

  • Light hors d'oeuvres (3–4pm) by Wolfgang Puck Catering (included with ticket)

  • Wine from Clarendelle and Domaine Clarence Dillon, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' official wines (two drink tickets included with admission)

  • Seating Note: This ticket option does not include reserved seating; seat saving will not be permitted; standing in the theaters is not permitted

  • Self parking is available at LACMA’s Pritzker Garage (6000 West 6th Street) and at the Petersen Automotive Museum (6060 Wilshire Boulevard); in addition, Roddenberry Lane will be open for rideshare dropoff and pickup

  • Our coat check is located in the Ted Mann Lobby located on the Lower Level of the museum. Bags smaller than 16” x 16” are permitted within the museum and must be carried by hand or checked. Guests are asked to leave large bags and backpacks at home.

Oscars® Season at the Academy Museum

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures invites the public to celebrate the 97th Oscars® and immerse themselves in its history through a series of rich and expansive one-of-a-kind Oscar® -centered events and activities.

Oscars® Season at the Academy Museum runs through March 30, 2025, and will see the museum campus activated for visitors to experience new gallery content, programs, events, Oscar®-winning film screenings, and exclusive store merchandise to celebrate the Academy Awards®.

In the week leading up to the Oscars broadcast on March 2, guests can enjoy screenings of all Oscar-nominated short films and attend Oscar Nominee Spotlights with this year’s nominated filmmakers in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film, Cinematography, Best Picture, International Feature Film, and Makeup and Hairstyling categories. Then, join us to celebrate the winners during the official Oscars® Watch Party on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

The 97th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live at 7pm ET/4pm PT on ABC, streamed live on Hulu and air live in more than 200 territories worldwide.
