Plus, we are thrilled to offer a 20% discount—increased from the year-round member discount of 10% off—when you shop online and in-person at the Academy Museum Store. Engage with museum educators for drop-in style conversations and gain rare insights into objects and films highlighted in our exhibitions. Join us on Sunday, February 2 for special, guided tours of Color in Motion: Chromatic Explorations of Cinema. Museum educators will host two 45-minute tours that touch on the emotional and psychological impact of color in film, scientific and technological advancements, and the way filmmakers utilize the elements of color to tell their stories.
Tours will begin at 5:30pm and 6pm. Please meet in the Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby. Space is available on a first-come, first served basis. Each tour will use devices to amplify the guide’s voice.
