Movies have captivated our attention and emotions for over 100 years. Celebrate cinema on a 30-minute guided tour of select galleries and themes that feature the exciting, diverse, and complex stories of filmmakers from around the world.
Join museum educators in Director’s Inspiration: Bong Joon Ho as they explore the filmmaker’s career and inspiration behind movies such as Snowpiercer (2013), Okja (2017), Parasite (2019), and more. Dive into director Bong’s meticulous storyboarding process, the movies that have inspired him, and his ability to deconstruct class and climate norms.
Each tour will use tour devices to amplify the guide’s voice.

For visitors who are blind or partially-sighted, audio description devices are available for some digital film screenings on a first-come, first-served basis.

Closed Captioning
For visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing, in-seat closed captioning or descriptive audio-devices are available for some digital film screenings on a first-come, first-served basis. Please confirm availability at academymuseum@oscars.org before planning your visit.
