Finding Nemo
Finding Nemo
Accommodative Screening
An overprotective clownfish, traumatized by the loss of most of his family, goes on an ocean-spanning adventure to rescue his missing young son, accompanied by the memory-impaired Dory in this touching and beautifully crafted adventure. The dazzling visual possibilities of computer animation are fully realized by the film’s undersea vistas and colorful aquatic life, and Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres provide priceless vocal performances. Winner of an Animated Feature Film Oscar, Finding Nemo was also nominated for its original screenplay and sound editing, and for Thomas Newman’s gentle score.
On the last Saturday of every month, the museum's Family Matinee is an accommodative screening where we offer open captioning, keep the theater dimly lit, and maintain a lower volume specifically for neurodivergent viewers.
