Drop-in Workshop for Teens: Storyboarding

Drop-in Workshop for Teens: Storyboarding

Learn about the importance of and what goes into the creative process of storyboarding!

The Education team invites teens to join museum educators on the third Friday of every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings, explore the museum, hang out, and get creative.

This month’s Drop-in Workshop is storyboarding! This workshop explores how storyboards outline a film’s vision to ensure that the story is translated from the script to the camera. Teens can create their own storyboards to communicate the story of their films visually.

Meet us on Friday, June 21 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level. Workshops are designed for teens ages 14 and up. Snacks will be provided.

All workshops are free with museum admission and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum admission is free for youth ages 17 and under.

Check back soon for upcoming workshop themes.

If you have any questions or need assistance planning your visit, please email museumeducation@oscars.org.
