Drop-in Tactile Filmmaking Workshop: Love in Motion

Drop-in Tactile Filmmaking Workshop: Love in Motion

Join us for a special edition of our Tactile Filmmaking Workshop in honor of Valentine’s Day!

In Cupid’s spirit of making connections, we invite you to this special edition of the Tactile Filmmaking Workshops. Bring a friend or come out to meet new friends while making a handmade, 16mm animated film inspired by love in all its forms and colors. Draw, scratch, and decorate 16mm film stock with simple materials like markers, tape, pushpins, ink, hole punchers, and more to create a one-of-a-kind film inspired by the magic of love and friendship. At the end of the workshop, the individual strips of film will be spliced together and screened through a 16mm film projector, creating a collaborative, community film.

Additional inclusive activities include keychain making with 35mm film strips. Make one for yourself or to give to your valentine!
