Drag Queen Story Hour

We will have a series of drag queen story hours this June hosted by Pickle, the director of Drag Story Hour Los Angeles. 

Pickle will be joined by fellow drag artists for readings of  

The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish by Lil Miss Hot Mess, Feminist Baby by Loryn Brantz, and It's Okay to Be Different by Todd Parr. 

A separate museum admission ticket is required to visit the galleries. Children 17 and under are free. 

Join us from 10:30–11:30am in the Academy Museum Store located on the first level. The program is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Schedule: 
Saturdays: June 1, 8, 15, and 22  

BIO:  
Pickle is the first drag laureate of the City of West Hollywood and director of Drag Story Hour Los Angeles. She has partnered with many organizations, including the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Independent Shakespeare Company, LA County Library and LA Public Library, and has appeared on Tyler Perry's Sistas, Weakest Link, and Dodgeball Thunderdome.
