Join us in conversation with Vertical Cinema writer/director Walter Thompson-Hernández, Ghetto Film School Executive Program Director Kyle Provencio Reingold, El Cine Founder and Executive Director Mariana Da Silva, and Manager, Community and Impact Andrew Acedo as they explore what makes Los Angeles a great place for cinema, the myriads of ways filmmakers portray the city, how to support underrepresented Angeleno artists, and more.
The conversation will take place in the Netflix Lounge on Level 2. Visitors are encouraged to explore the Shifting Perspectives: Vertical Cinema exhibition on Level 2 before or after the program and browse our upcoming film series programs including Summer in the City: Los Angeles, Block by Block.
