In celebration of the Academy Museum’s third anniversary, we are offering complimentary general admission on September 29, 2024.

Advance ticket reservations are encouraged, but not required. Museum members receive priority entry and a special gift at check-in with proof of membership. Not a member? Join today! Standby entry will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Visitors receive free admission to Charlie Chaplin's silent comedy The Gold Rush at 2pm. Enjoy music, tacos from Fanny's, fruit vendors on The Walt Disney Company Piazza, and a photo booth in the Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby.

From 10:30am–3:30pm, join us in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the Lower Level lobby for a Drop-In Tactile Filmmaking Workshop where you can add your unique marks to a community-created, direct-on-film animation. This is a fun and interactive experience for people of all ages and abilities! The film will be projected in the lower lobby at 4pm for everyone to enjoy.

The Academy Museum Store will also offer a limited-time 20% discount on select merchandise in-store and online, valid only on September 29, 2024.
